Like everyone else in the world, I have much to say, many opinions to share and a lot of unsolicited advice to give. And like many of my generation, it’s been for quite a while that I have been thinking of starting a blog of my own.
Having led a life rich with varied experiences, lots of travel, many interests that I am passionate about, and a background in writing, I had expected my debut into blog writing to be much smoother and less confused. Alas that was not to happen. The very fact that I enjoy so much in life, led to what I felt was a lack of focus. I faced the same uncertainties in blog writing that I had begun to feel in my job hunt; that I was over-qualified by virtue of having way too varied experiences.
Then one fine day (today) I suddenly saw the light. All right… it was far from a fine day. It is grey, threatening to snow, and bitterly cold. I am nursing a headache, a parched throat, and a stuffed, dry nose… all the makings of a hangover minus the alcohol. Well, that didn’t take away from the fact that I saw the light. As much as the clouds tried to … well, cloud it, I saw it.
I don’t need so much focus. Life is much more beautiful, pleasant and frame-able (that’s a word, I promise), in soft focus. So here I go; writing about my biggest passions – design and business, with the all-encompassing genre of life lessons thrown in to ensure that none of my gems of wisdom escape this lovely catchall blog of mine.
